1250 is Jackson’s newest ambulance. It is equipped with a variety of tools and equipment to handle many medical emergencies. We have splints and long boards for traumatic injuries and intravenous drugs to counteract narcotic overdoses, cardiac problems and diabetic emergencies as well as a defibrillator for cardica monitoring and cardiac arrests. 1250 is staffed with a minimum of one EMT-Intermediate Technician, One EMT-Basic, and a driver. We have also recentlybeen authorized to provide Paramedic services during many hours of the day, and the advanced medications that can be utilized by the Paramedics are also on-board.
