1250

1261 is the primary engine out on fire calls with a 1000 gallon tank and 1500 gpm (gallon per minute) Waterous pump. The engine is used to put water or foam on the fire. Once the onboard tank is depleted the engine will draft water from a hydrant, a portable tank from a tanker, or a local water source such as a pond or reservoir. It also carries 25 gallons of onboard suppression foam and a crew of 8 firefighters. This engine is technologically advanced with multiplexed, computer controlled power systems, an all-LED emergency lighting system, an onboard hydraulic generator with a light mast for lighting the scene, and ample storage for firefighting equipment and tools.
