1282 is our offroad 1 ton 2010 Chevrolet 4X4 Grass Fire Rig. It has a 250 gallon water tank on a skid in the bed of the truck with foam capability. This vehicle carries a maximum crew compliment of two firefighters, and may go out to the origin of a fire, even if it is far out in a field. There is a 100 GPM (Gallon Per Minute) pump mounted to the skid so that a powerful water stream can be brought directly to the fire.

In addition, brooms, water cans, and an extra container of class A foam is carried.
