1291 is identical in function to 1290 and also has a 2200 gallon water capacity. 1291  is a more advanced vehicle with a mounted pump and hosereel for grass fire operations as well as tanker to pumper nursing operations.  There is a powered portable tank holder on the officer side of the vehicle and all three dump valves and chutes are power operated, requiring only one firefighter for operation without leaving the cab of the vehicle.  In most cases 1291 has a compliment of two firefighters.
